Pleadings

Statements of claim, answers, replies, rejoinders and other writings – we are familiar with the terminology and phrasing in conventional use in all of the Swiss cantons and internationally. Our teams are capable of understanding the factual, technical and legal issues in cases of the highest complexity – whether in cases of, financial litigation, tax litigation, trademark and patent litigation, international criminal proceedings, complex construction contracts, debt enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings or other areas of the law.

They are trained in recognizing and faithfully translating all nuances of expression and details of fact and argument that are of importance for litigation proceedings. When translating legal arguments used in Swiss courts, we closely adhere to the terminology of Swiss federal legislation and the Federal Supreme Court. When translating into English, we do the comparative research needed to ensure that concepts of Swiss law are accurately and comprehensibly rendered into correct legal English.
